【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardappliestoportableinstrumentsusedformeasuringthespecificorvolumicactivityofgamma-emittingradionuclidesinfood/foodstuffsintendedforoperationunderfieldconditions,particularlyincaseofapost-accidentalsituation.Itdoesnotapplytolowbackgroundlaboratoryinstrumentationrequiringhighlyskilledpersonnel.Theinstrumentsdesignedformeasurementofgammacontaminationinfoodstuffsunderfieldconditionsshouldnotrequirespecialsamplepreparationotherthanmachining(cutting,grinding,etc.).Theseinstrumentsmaybeused,inprinciple,tomeasurethegammaemittingsurfacecontaminationandotherradiationmeasurementsaswell,buttheseapplicationsareoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.Thesameinstrumentsintendedformeasuringfoodstuffscanalsobeusedforthemeasurementofenvironmentalsamples,suchassoil,sewage,plantandanimallife,etc.Theseinstrumentscanbeusedtoestimatespecificgammaactivityforawidevarietyofsamplesaccordingtothisstandard.
