【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthecokingvalueoftarandpitchhavinganashcontentnotover0.5%asdeterminedbyTestMethodD2415.CokingvaluesbythismethodarepracticallythesameasthoseobtainedbyTestMethodD189,butresultsaremorereproducible.Theapparatususedisidentical,exceptthatanelectricfurnaceissubstitutedforthegasflame.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
